     Samuel Maxwell Alexander was born in 1834.1 He was the son of John Alexander and Margaret Maxwell.1 He married Henrietta Constance Heygate, daughter of Sir Frederick William Heygate, 2nd Bt. and Marianne Gage, on 22 April 1884.1 He died on 10 June 1886, without issue.2
