     Major Richard Lionel Heygate was born on 25 October 1859.¹ He was the son of Major Edward Nicholas Heygate and Mary Jane Hammond.² He married Eleanor Mary Gwenllian Evans, daughter of Edward James Evans, on 17 July 1895.¹ He died on 26 November 1926 at age 67.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Herefordshire.¹

     Eleanor Mary Gwenllian Evans was the daughter of Edward James Evans.² She married Major Richard Lionel Heygate, son of Major Edward Nicholas Heygate and Mary Jane Hammond, on 17 July 1895.¹ She died on 11 August 1958.¹
     From 17 July 1895, her married name became Heygate.

     Mary Ursula Heygate was born on 7 August 1896.¹ She was the daughter of Major Richard Lionel Heygate and Eleanor Mary Gwenllian Evans.² She married Captain Eustace King-King on 4 July 1930.¹ She died on 17 April 1976 at age 79.¹
     From 4 July 1930, her married name became King-King.

     Captain Eustace King-King married Mary Ursula Heygate, daughter of Major Richard Lionel Heygate and Eleanor Mary Gwenllian Evans, on 4 July 1930.¹ He died on 7 January 1975.¹

     Gladys Henrietta Heygate was born on 28 November 1898.¹ She was the daughter of Major Richard Lionel Heygate and Eleanor Mary Gwenllian Evans.² She married, firstly, Major Brereton Ockleston Rigby, son of Thomas Arthur Rigby, on 9 August 1924.¹ She married, secondly, Richard Thomas, son of Richard Thomas, on 28 September 1933.²
     From 9 August 1924, her married name became Rigby. From 28 September 1933, her married name became Thomas.²

     Thomas Arthur Rigby lived at Liverpool, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Major Brereton Ockleston Rigby was the son of Thomas Arthur Rigby.² He married Gladys Henrietta Heygate, daughter of Major Richard Lionel Heygate and Eleanor Mary Gwenllian Evans, on 9 August 1924.¹ He died on 2 June 1931.¹

     Richard Arthur Rigby was born in 1926.¹ He is the son of Major Brereton Ockleston Rigby and Gladys Henrietta Heygate.² He married Margaret Stocker in 1950.¹

     Margaret Stocker married Richard Arthur Rigby, son of Major Brereton Ockleston Rigby and Gladys Henrietta Heygate, in 1950.¹
     From 1950, her married name became Rigby.
