     James Heygate was born on 11 January 1747.¹ He was the son of Nicholas Heygate and Mary Anne Cooke.² He married Sarah Unwin, daughter of Samuel Unwin, on 11 January 1781.¹ He died on 11 April 1833 at age 86.¹

     Sarah Unwin was the daughter of Samuel Unwin.² She married James Heygate, son of Nicholas Heygate and Mary Anne Cooke, on 11 January 1781.¹ She died on 2 February 1801.¹
     From 11 January 1781, her married name became Heygate.

     William Butlin married Anne Heygate, daughter of Nicholas Heygate and Mary Anne Cooke.¹
     He had three sons and three daughters.¹ He was a banker at Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹

     Edward Longdon Mackmurdo lived at Upper Clapton, London, England^G.¹

     Isabella Mackmurdo was the daughter of Edward Longdon Mackmurdo.² She married Sir William Heygate, 1st Bt., son of James Heygate and Sarah Unwin, on 19 May 1821.¹ She died on 7 October 1859.¹
     From 19 May 1821, her married name became Heygate.

     William Unwin Heygate was born on 12 March 1825.¹ He was the son of Sir William Heygate, 1st Bt. and Isabella Mackmurdo.² He married Constance Mary Beaumont, daughter of Sir George Howland Willoughby Beaumont, 8th Bt. and Mary Anne Howley, on 6 July 1852.¹ He died on 2 March 1902 at age 76.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1847 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1850 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Leicestershire Yeomanry Cavalry.¹
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicester between 1860 and 1865.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stamford in 1868.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Leicestershire between 1870 and 1880.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Leicestershire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Leicestershire.¹ He lived at Roecliffe Hall, Leicestershire, England^G.¹

     Charles Heygate was born in 1745.¹ He was the son of Nicholas Heygate and Mary Anne Cooke.¹ He married Martha Lucas, daughter of Thomas Lucas.¹ He died in 1808.¹
