     Her married name became Kennedy. After her marriage, Mary Burn was styled as Marchioness of Ailsa on 31 May 1957. She lived in 1999 at Cassillis, Maybole, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.⁴

     Her married name became Aird. She lived in 2002 at Wingrove House, Chipping, Campden, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Sir George John Aird, 4th Bt. was born on 30 January 1940.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir John Renton Aird, 3rd Bt. and Lady Priscilla Heathcote-Drummond-Willoughby.¹ He married, firstly, Margaret Elizabeth Muir, daughter of Sir John Harling Muir, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Mary Dundas, on 31 August 1968.¹ He married, secondly, Xiao Fen Wang, daughter of Professor Jin Fen Wang, in 2011. He died on 4 May 2023 at age 83.²

     Sir John Harling Muir, 3rd Bt. was born on 7 November 1910.² He was the son of James Finlay Muir and Charlotte Escudier Turner.² He married Elizabeth Mary Dundas, daughter of Frederick James Dundas and Sylvia Mary March Phillipps, on 24 October 1936.² He died on 31 May 1994 at age 83.^2,3
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.² He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)² He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.² He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Major and Acting Lieutenant-Colonel in the Staff and 25th Dragoons and 3rd Carabiniers.² He was chairman of James Finlay & Company.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Muir, of Deanston, co. Perth and Park Gardens, Glasgow [U.K., 1892] on 4 June 1951.² He was director of Scottish United Investors, National and Grindlays Bank, London and Lancashire Insurance, Royal Insurance, and Vickers.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Perthshire in 1966.²

     Susan Priscilla Aird was born on 26 August 1942.¹ She is the daughter of Colonel Sir John Renton Aird, 3rd Bt. and Lady Priscilla Heathcote-Drummond-Willoughby.¹
