     Cecil William Norton, 1st Baron Rathcreedan was born on 23 June 1850.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Norton and Caroline Theresa Riddock.^2,3 He married, firstly, Cecilia Lafayette Kennedy, daughter of James Kennedy, on 18 August 1880.¹ He married, secondly, Marguerite Cecil Huntington, daughter of Sir Charles Philip Huntington, 1st Bt., on 21 July 1903.¹ He died on 7 December 1930 at age 80.¹
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Lancers.¹ He retired from the military, with the rank of Brigade-Major of Cavalry, late of the Aldershot.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newington West between 1892 and 1916.² He held the office of Junior Lord of Treasury between 1905 and 1910.¹ He was Assistant Postmaster-General between 1910 and 1916.¹ He was created 1st Baron Rathcreedan, of Bellehatch Park, co. Oxford [U.K.] on 27 January 1916.¹ He was Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Munitions between 1919 and 1922.¹

     Henry Sheppard Hart Cavendish, 6th Baron Waterpark was born on 18 May 1876.¹ He was the son of William Thomas Cavendish and Cecilia Lafayette Kennedy.¹ He married, firstly, Isabel Emilie Jay, daughter of John Wimburn Jay, on 16 April 1902.¹ He and Isabel Emilie Jay were divorced in 1906.¹ He married, secondly, May Burbidge, daughter of William Ernest Burbidge, on 12 December 1906.¹ He married, thirdly, Elise Herran, daughter of Emmanuel Adolphe Herran, on 30 August 1913 at Kingston, Surrey, England.¹ He and Elise Herran were divorced in 1919.¹ He married, fourthly, Georgette Zlateffmoloff Chaudronnier, daughter of Ivan Zlateffmoloff Chaudronnier, on 2 June 1920.¹ He and Georgette Zlateffmoloff Chaudronnier were divorced in 1929.¹ He married, fifthly, Jeanne Lassallette, daughter of Pierre Lassallette, on 7 August 1929.¹ He died on 26 November 1948 at age 72, without male issue.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 4th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the South African Light Horse.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was an African traveller and explorer.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Empire Society (F.R.E.S.)¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Cavendish, of Doveridge, co. Derby [G.B., 1755] on 27 January 1932.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Waterpark, of Waterpark, co. Cork [I., 1792] on 27 January 1932.¹

     Isabel Emilie Jay was the daughter of John Wimburn Jay.¹ She married Henry Sheppard Hart Cavendish, 6th Baron Waterpark, son of William Thomas Cavendish and Cecilia Lafayette Kennedy, on 16 April 1902.¹ She and Henry Sheppard Hart Cavendish, 6th Baron Waterpark were divorced in 1906.¹ She died on 26 February 1927.¹
     She was an actress.¹ She was awarded the Gold Medal of the Royal Academy of Music.¹ From 16 April 1902, her married name became Cavendish.¹

     Hon. Cecilia Claribel Cavendish was born on 11 July 1903.¹ She is the daughter of Henry Sheppard Hart Cavendish, 6th Baron Waterpark and Isabel Emilie Jay.¹ She married James Mitchell Anderson, son of Philip Anderson, on 29 July 1933.¹
     From 29 July 1933, her married name became Anderson.¹ She lived in 2003 at Courtenay Beach, Kingsway, Hove, Sussex, England^G.¹

     James Mitchell Anderson was the son of Philip Anderson.¹ He married Hon. Cecilia Claribel Cavendish, daughter of Henry Sheppard Hart Cavendish, 6th Baron Waterpark and Isabel Emilie Jay, on 29 July 1933.¹ He died on 11 June 1963.¹
