Elizabeth Heneage, Countess of Winchilsea 

Elizabeth Heneage, Countess of Winchilsea was born on 9 July 1556.1 She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Heneage and Anne Poyntz.2 She married Sir Moyle Finch, 1st Bt., son of Sir Thomas Finch and Catherine Moyle, before 1573.2 She died on 23 March 1633/34 at age 77.2
Her married name became Finch. She was created 1st Viscountess of Maidstone [England] on 8 July 1623, with special remainder to the heirs male of her body.2 She was created 1st Countess of Winchilsea [England] on 11 July 1628, with special remainder to the heirs male of her body.2

He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was appointed Knight in 1599 in Ireland.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Great Yarmouth in 1614.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Finch, of Eastwell, Kent [E., 1611] on 18 December 1614.1

Sir Heneage Finch 

Sir Heneage Finch was born on 15 December 1580.2 He was the son of Sir Moyle Finch, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Heneage, Countess of Winchilsea.3 He married, firstly, Frances Bell, daughter of Sir Edmund Bell, after 1607.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Cradock, daughter of William Cradock, on 16 April 1629.2 He died on 5 December 1631 at age 50.3
He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rye on 20 December 1607.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for West Looe in 1621.2 He held the office of Recorder of the City of London.3 He was appointed Knight on 22 June 1623.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for London between 1624 and 1626.2 He held the office of Speaker of the House of Commons.3 He held the office of Serjeant-at-Arms of the House of Commons.3
He had six other sons and three other daughters.3
