     Brome Whorwood was born in 1615.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Whorwood and Ursula Brome.² He married Jane Ryder, daughter of William Ryder and Elizabeth de Boussoyne.³ He died in 1684.¹

     Emma Julia Sykes was the daughter of Sir Tatton Sykes, 4th Bt. and Mary Anne Foulis.² She married Philip Bryan Davies-Cooke, son of Philip Davies-Cooke and Lady Helena Caroline King, on 17 July 1862.² She died on 7 October 1907.¹
     From 17 July 1862, her married name became Davies-Cooke.

     Philip Tatton Davies-Cooke was born on 15 May 1863.¹ He was the son of Philip Bryan Davies-Cooke and Emma Julia Sykes.² He married Doris Donaldson-Hudson, daughter of Charles Donaldson-Hudson, on 14 August 1894.¹ He died on 10 June 1946 at age 83.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st West Yorkshire Yeomanry Cavalry.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Denbighshire Hussars Yeomanry.¹ He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Flintshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Flintshire.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Flintshire in 1915.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1920.¹ He lived at Maes Alyn, Mold, Clwyd, Wales^G.¹ He lived at Owston Hall, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Gwysaney, Flintshire, Wales^G.¹

     Doris Donaldson-Hudson was the daughter of Charles Donaldson-Hudson.² She married Philip Tatton Davies-Cooke, son of Philip Bryan Davies-Cooke and Emma Julia Sykes, on 14 August 1894.¹ She died on 20 March 1935.¹
     From 14 August 1894, her married name became Davies-Cooke.
