Sir Walter Devereux, 1st Lord Ferrers (of Chartley)1

He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Herefordshire in 1460.2 He was appointed Knight in 1461.2 He was created 1st Lord Ferrers, of Chartley [England by writ] on 26 July 1461.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1472.2 He fought in the Battle of Bosworth on 22 August 1485.2 He was attainted posthumously.2

He was created 1st Baronet Hastings, of Redlynch, Somerset [England] on 7 May 1667.3 In 1669 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.3
