     He held the office of Sheriff of Leicestershire in 1619.¹ His last will was dated 18 June 1640.²

     Sir Edward Hastings was born in 1542 at Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire, England^G.³ He was the son of Francis Hastings, 2nd Earl of Huntingdon and Catherine Pole.¹ He married Barbara Devereux, daughter of Sir William Devereux and Jane Scudamore, in 1567.^1,3 He died in 1603 at Abbey Gate, Leicestershire, England^G.^1,3
     He lived at Leicester Abbey, Leicestershire, England^G.¹

     Mary Nettles was born at Toureen, County Waterford, Ireland^G.¹ She is the daughter of John Nettles.¹ She married Patricius Christian, son of William Christian and Elizabeth Cockshutt, in 1670 at Waterford, County Waterford, Ireland^G.¹
     From 1670, her married name became Christian.¹

     Commander Robert Gordon Hobson gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Simon Anthony Henry Havelock-Allan was born on 6 May 1944.¹ He was the son of Sir Anthony James Allan Havelock-Allan, 4th Bt. and Babette Valerie Louise Hobson.^2,1 He died on 31 January 1991 at age 46.²

     Sir Anthony Mark David Havelock-Allan, 5th Bt. was born on 4 April 1951.¹ He is the son of Sir Anthony James Allan Havelock-Allan, 4th Bt. and Babette Valerie Louise Hobson.² He married, firstly, Lucy Clare Mitchell-Innes, daughter of Alexander Plantagenet Mitchell-Innes, on 24 March 1976.¹ He and Lucy Clare Mitchell-Innes were divorced in 1984.¹ He married, secondly, Alison Lee Caroline Foster, daughter of Leslie Francis Foster, on 22 May 1986.¹

     Lucy Clare Mitchell-Innes is the daughter of Alexander Plantagenet Mitchell-Innes.¹ She married Sir Anthony Mark David Havelock-Allan, 5th Bt., son of Sir Anthony James Allan Havelock-Allan, 4th Bt. and Babette Valerie Louise Hobson, on 24 March 1976.² She and Sir Anthony Mark David Havelock-Allan, 5th Bt. were divorced in 1984.²
     From 24 March 1976, her married name became Havelock-Allan.¹

     Alison Lee Caroline Foster is the daughter of Leslie Francis Foster.¹ She married Sir Anthony Mark David Havelock-Allan, 5th Bt., son of Sir Anthony James Allan Havelock-Allan, 4th Bt. and Babette Valerie Louise Hobson, on 22 May 1986.²
     From 22 May 1986, her married name became Havelock-Allan.¹
