Sir William Stewart, 1st Bt.1 
He was granted large tracts of land in Counties Donegal and Tyrone.3 He was Captain of the company of 100 Scottish soldiers in June 1608 in Ireland.4 In 1612 he was undertaker (i.e., broker) of escheated lands in County Wexford.3 In 1613 he was made a free denizen of Ireland.3 He was appointed Knight in 1613.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Donegal [Ireland] between 1613 and 1615.3 He was created 1st Baronet Stewart, of Ramelton, co. Donegal [Ireland] on 2 May 1623.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland]3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Donegal [Ireland] from 1634 to 1635.3

Sir Francis Hamilton, 1st Bt.1 
He was naturalized as a denizen of Ireland on 12 February 1618.1 On 20 July 1621 he received the Cavan estates from his grandfather, Sir Alexander Hamilton.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] as one of the Council of Munster to King James I.1 He was created 1st Baronet Hamilton, of Killaugh, co. Cavan [Scotland] on 29 September 1628, with grant of 16,000 acres in Nova Scotia (which he had seizin of in Nov 1628.)1 On 17 June 1631 the estates of Clonkine, Carrotubber and Clonyn were formed into the single manor of Castle Killagh, afterwards Castle Hamilton, County Cavan.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Jamestown [Ireland] between 1639 and 1648.1 He held the office of Custos Rotulorum of County Cavan.1 He was Commissioner for the Act of Settlement in 1661.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Cavan [Ireland] between 1661 and 1666.1 He lived at Killaugh, County Down, IrelandG.2

From before 1610, her married name became Hamilton.2 She was naturalized as a denizen of Ireland on 12 February 1618.3 From between 12 February 1618 and 1623, her married name became Forbes. In 1641 she defended Castle Forbes against insurgents during the 1641 Uprising.4 She was living on 30 September 1642.4
