     Margaret Alice Hamilton Fergusson was born on 18 February 1889.¹ She was the daughter of Sir James Ranken Fergusson, 2nd Bt. and Alice Fanny Simpson.² She married Cuthbert Archibald Lambton, son of Lt.-Col. Francis William Lambton and Lady Victoria Alexandrina Elizabeth Campbell, on 21 October 1913.¹ She died on 1 February 1969 at age 79, leaving issue.¹
     From 21 October 1913, her married name became Lambton.

     Charles Samuel Addams married Barbara Estella Barb, daughter of Stephen Barb, before 1956.¹
     He was a cartoonist.¹

     From 2 June 1919, her married name became de Spiganovicz.¹ From 16 April 1933, her married name became Finn.¹

     Arthur Julian de Spiganovicz married Helen Hamilton Fergusson, daughter of Sir James Ranken Fergusson, 2nd Bt. and Alice Fanny Simpson, on 2 June 1919.¹ He died on 7 April 1925.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Mary Peploe was born in 1701 at Preston, Lancashire, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Samuel Peploe and Anne Browne.¹ She was baptised on 29 July 1701 at St. John, Preston, Lancashire, England.² She married Francis Joddrell on 11 February 1755 at St. John, Chester, Cheshire, England.^1,2 She died in 1772.¹
     From 11 February 1755, her married name became Joddrell.¹ Her last will was dated 15 April 1765.²

     Jean Bell Fergusson was born on 16 June 1805.¹ She was the daughter of James Fergusson and Elizabeth Hodge.¹ She married Thomas Melvill in 1826.¹ She died in March 1834 at age 28.¹
     From 1826, her married name became Melvill.¹

     Max Christian Hamilton Colyer-Fergusson was born on 30 December 1890.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Colyer Colyer-Fergusson, 3rd Bt. and Beatrice Stanley Muller.² He married Edith Jane Miller, daughter of William White Miller, on 23 July 1913.¹ He died on 13 August 1940 at age 49, killed while on active service.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant and Temporary Captain in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹
