     Rev. Hon. George Barrington Legge was born on 19 December 1831.¹ He was the son of William Legge, 4th Earl of Dartmouth and Hon. Frances Barrington.¹ He married Sophia Frances Margaret Levett, daughter of John Levett and Sophia Eliza Kennedy, on 9 October 1860.¹ He died on 9 December 1900 at age 68.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.¹ He was the Vicar between 1860 and 1864 at Packington, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He was the Vicar between 1878 and 1882 at Whittington, Warwickshire, England^G.¹

     Sophia Frances Margaret Levett was born circa 1838 at Holly Bank, Staffordshire, England.² She was the daughter of John Levett and Sophia Eliza Kennedy.^1,2 She married Rev. Hon. George Barrington Legge, son of William Legge, 4th Earl of Dartmouth and Hon. Frances Barrington, on 9 October 1860.¹ She died on 15 October 1895.¹
     From 9 October 1860, her married name became Legge.¹
