Francis William Newdigate, son of Francis Newdigate and Lady Barbara Maria Legge, on 1 March 1870.1 She died on 7 August 1907 at age 77, without issue.1
     From 1 March 1870, her married name became Newdigate.

Francis William Newdigate was baptised on 19 April 1822 at Astley, Warwickshire, England.2 He was the son of Francis Newdigate and Lady Barbara Maria Legge.2 He married, firstly, Charlotte Elizabeth Agnes Sophia Woodford in 1859 at Chelsea, London, England.3,2 He married, secondly, Hon. Louisa Georgina Leigh, daughter of Chandos Leigh, 1st Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh and Margarette Willes, on 1 March 1870.1 He died on 9 March 1893 at age 70.1
     He lived at Allesley Park, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.1
