Sir Henry Richard Legge Newdigate, son of Francis Newdigate and Lady Barbara Maria Legge, on 15 July 1886 at Marylebone, London, England.^1,3 She died on 19 March 1906 at age 47.¹
     From 15 July 1886, her married name became Newdigate.

Sir Henry Richard Legge Newdigate was born on 24 December 1832.² He was the son of Francis Newdigate and Lady Barbara Maria Legge.² He was baptised on 16 February 1833 at St. Mary’s, Lewisham, Kent, England.² He married Phyllis Shirley, daughter of Reverend Arthur George Sewallis Shirley and Mary Beadon Turner, on 15 July 1886 at Marylebone, London, England.^1,2 He died on 17 January 1908 at age 75.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹

     Emily Gertrude Shirley was born on 4 July 1861.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Arthur George Sewallis Shirley and Mary Beadon Turner.² She married George William Floyer in 1905.¹ She died in 1915.¹
     From 1905, her married name became Floyer.

     Louisa Shirley was born on 25 October 1863.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Arthur George Sewallis Shirley and Mary Beadon Turner.² She married Lt.-Col. George Ambrose Cardew, son of Captain Christopher Baldock Cardew, in 1895.¹ She died on 6 April 1949 at age 85.¹
