     Thomas Fraser, 2nd of Strichen was the son of Thomas Fraser of Knockie, and 1st of Strichen and Isobel Forbes.2 He married, firstly, Christian Forbes, daughter of William Forbes, 8th of Tolquhoun and Janet Ogilvy.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Macleod, daughter of Torquil ‘Conanach’ MacLeod, circa 17 February 1629.1 He died in March 1647/48.2
     He held the office of Sheriff of Inverness.2
