(Conservative) for Evesham between 1837 and 1841.1 On 8 May 1838 he fought one of the last duels in England, with Peter Borthwick, in a dispute over his 1827 election.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for East Worcestershire between 1847 and 1859.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Rushout, of Milnst-Maylers, co. Essex [E., 1661] on 20 January 1859.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Northwick of Northwick Park, co. Worcester [G.B., 1797] on 20 January 1859.1 On his death, his titles became extinct.1
