     From 23 April 1640, her married name became Clavering.¹

     John Clavering was born circa 1641.¹ He was the son of Sir James Clavering, 1st Bt. and Jane Madison.¹ He married Dorothy Savile, daughter of John Savile and Margaret Garraway, on 15 September 1663.² He died on 26 February 1687/88.¹
     He lived at Whitehouse, County Durham, England^G.¹

     Dorothy Savile was born on 1 May 1647.² She is the daughter of John Savile and Margaret Garraway.^1,2 She married John Clavering, son of Sir James Clavering, 1st Bt. and Jane Madison, on 15 September 1663.²
     From 15 September 1663, her married name became Clavering.

     Sir James Clavering, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 8 April 1668 at Ryton, England^G.¹ He was the son of John Clavering and Dorothy Savile.¹ He married Elizabeth Middleton, daughter of Sir William Middleton, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mundy.¹ He died circa July 1707, without surviving male issue.¹ He was buried on 8 July 1707 at Whickham, County Durham, England^G.¹
     He matriculated at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 17 June 1687.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Clavering, of Axwell, co. Durham [E., 1661] circa March 1701/2.¹

     Elizabeth Middleton was the daughter of Sir William Middleton, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mundy.¹ She married Sir James Clavering, 2nd Bt., son of John Clavering and Dorothy Savile.¹ She died circa May 1708.¹ She was buried on 6 May 1708 at Whickham, County Durham, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Clavering.¹

     Sir William Middleton, 1st Bt. was the son of Ralph Middleton and Isabel Fenwick.² He married, secondly, Elizabeth Mundy, daughter of John Mundy.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Wentworth, daughter of Sir Thomas Wentworth.³ He died circa March 1690.³ He was buried on 22 March 1690.³
     He was created 1st Baronet Middleton, of Belsay Castle, co. Northumberland [England] on 24 October 1662.³ He held the office of Sheriff of Northumberland in 1666.³

     Elizabeth Mundy was the daughter of John Mundy.¹ She married Sir William Middleton, 1st Bt., son of Ralph Middleton and Isabel Fenwick.¹ She died circa February 1680.² She was buried on 23 February 1680.²
     Her married name became Middleton.¹
