Jane Moffat was baptised on 24 January 1768 at New Monkland, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of James Moffat and Janet Craig.2 She married Alexander Baird, son of William Baird, on 2 August 1794 at Old MonklandG.1,2 She died on 8 July 1851 at age 83.1
