     Henry John Conant was born in 1852.² He was the son of Reverend John William Conant and Frances Catherine Groves.³ He married, firstly, Emily Murray, daughter of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Emily Gostling, on 28 November 1878.¹ He married, secondly, Geraldine Effie Grimshawe, daughter of Charles Livius Grimshawe, in 1883.² He died on 17 May 1914.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the West Kent Regiment.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Grafton Regis, Northamptonshire, England^G.²

     Margaret Frances Elizabeth Conant was the daughter of Reverend John William Conant and Frances Catherine Groves.^1,2 She married Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray, son of Reverend Edward Murray and Ruperta Catherine Wright, on 10 December 1878.¹ She died on 30 June 1910.¹
     Her married name became Murray.

     Thomas Squire married Frances Diana Hills on 19 September 1775 at Broughton Blean, Kent, England.¹

     Captain Fane Wright Stapleton Murray was born on 16 October 1879.¹ He was the son of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Margaret Frances Elizabeth Conant.¹ He died on 30 October 1914 at age 35, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 12th Lancers.¹ He fought in the First World War.

     Lt.-Col. Cecil de Grey Murray was born on 4 December 1880.¹ He was the son of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Margaret Frances Elizabeth Conant.¹ He married, firstly, Theodora Lockhart Jervis, daughter of James T. Jervis, on 8 December 1910.¹ He and Theodora Lockhart Jervis were divorced in 1945.¹ He married, secondly, Ivy Noel Campbell Gostling, daughter of William Augustus Kennedy Gostling, on 24 May 1945.¹ He died on 18 June 1956 at age 75, without issue.¹
     He fought in the Boer War in 1900.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, Yorkshire and Lancashire Regiments.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 12th Cadet Battalion, Essex Regiment.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Theodora Lockhart Jervis is the daughter of James T. Jervis.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Cecil de Grey Murray, son of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Margaret Frances Elizabeth Conant, on 8 December 1910.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Cecil de Grey Murray were divorced in 1945.¹
     Her married name became Murray.

     James T. Jervis was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)¹

     Ivy Noel Campbell Gostling is the daughter of William Augustus Kennedy Gostling.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Cecil de Grey Murray, son of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Margaret Frances Elizabeth Conant, on 24 May 1945.¹
     Her married name became Murray.

     William Augustus Kennedy Gostling lived at Oxenturn, Wye, Kent, England^G.

     Captain Rupert Auriol Conant Murray was born on 29 September 1882.¹ He was the son of Colonel Charles Edward Gostling Murray and Margaret Frances Elizabeth Conant.¹ He married Ivy Maud Dering, daughter of Sir Henry Edward Dering, 10th Bt. and Mary Astel Rosina Jameson, on 12 August 1913.¹ He died on 11 March 1915 at age 32, from wounds received in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Seaforth Highlanders.¹ He fought in the First World War.²
