     John Michael Ward Bingham, 7th Baron Clanmorris of Newbrook was born on 3 November 1908.¹ He was the son of Arthur Maurice Robert Bingham, 6th Baron Clanmorris of Newbrook and Mowbray Leila Cloete.¹ He married Madeleine Mary Ebel, daughter of Clement Ebel, on 28 July 1934.¹ He died on 6 August 1988 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Engineers and attached to the General Staff.² He was an author (as John Bingham) of detective novels.² He succeeded as the 7th Baron Clanmorris of Newbrook, co. Mayo [I., 1800] on 24 June 1960.¹

     Madeleine Mary Ebel was the daughter of Clement Ebel.¹ She married John Michael Ward Bingham, 7th Baron Clanmorris of Newbrook, son of Arthur Maurice Robert Bingham, 6th Baron Clanmorris of Newbrook and Mowbray Leila Cloete, on 28 July 1934.¹ She died on 16 February 1988.¹
     She was an authoress and playwright.² From 28 July 1934, her married name became Bingham.¹

     Simon John Ward Bingham, 8th Baron Clanmorris of Newbrook was born on 25 October 1937.¹ He is the son of John Michael Ward Bingham, 7th Baron Clanmorris of Newbrook and Madeleine Mary Ebel.¹ He married Gizella Maria Zverkó, daughter of Zandor Zverkó, on 28 August 1971.²
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He did his National Service as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 13th/18th Royal Hussars between 1957 and 1958.² He graduated from Queens’ College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1961 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was registered as a Member, Institute of Chartered Accountants (A.C.A.) in 1965.² He graduated from Queens’ College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1965 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was appointed Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants (F.C.A.) in 1975.² He succeeded as the 8th Baron Clanmorris of Newbrook, co. Mayo [I., 1800] on 6 August 1988.¹
