     Valerie Elizabeth Chetwynd was born on 20 June 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Charles William George Chetwynd and Mary Elizabeth Griffiths.² She married, firstly, Rupert Paul Carrington, son of Harold Moorhead Francis Carrington and Patricia Cecil Sanday, on 27 May 1961.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Mark F. Murray in 1978.¹
     From 27 May 1961, her married name became Carrington. From 1978, her married name became Murray.

     Harold Moorhead Francis Carrington was born in 1914.² He married Patricia Cecil Sanday in 1937.² He died in 1982.²
     He lived at Heskin Hall, Chorley, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Rupert Paul Carrington was born in 1938.² He was the son of Harold Moorhead Francis Carrington and Patricia Cecil Sanday.^3,4 He married Valerie Elizabeth Chetwynd, daughter of Charles William George Chetwynd and Mary Elizabeth Griffiths, on 27 May 1961.¹ He married Helen M. Woods in 1976.⁴ He died on 2 November 2017 at Roby Mill, England.²

     Lt.-Col. Mark F. Murray married Valerie Elizabeth Chetwynd, daughter of Charles William George Chetwynd and Mary Elizabeth Griffiths, in 1978.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Marines.¹

     Beatrice Ada Chetwynd is the daughter of Charles Chetwynd and Mary Meakin.²

     Mildred Florence Mary Chetwynd is the daughter of Charles Chetwynd and Mary Meakin.²

     Sophia Ann Chetwynd is the daughter of Major William Fawkener Chetwynd and Mary Anne Mosley.² She married Francis Peter Conolan, son of Peter Conolan, on 10 January 1870.¹
