Sir John Newdigate-Ludford-Chetwode, 5th Bt.1 
He was given the name of John Chetwode at birth.1 On 1 August 1826 his name was legally changed to John Newdigate-Ludford-Chetwode by Royal Licence.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Chetwode, of Oakley, co. Stafford [E., 1700] on 17 December 1845.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1852.4
