     Elizabeth Lundie was the daughter of Sir Robert Lundie of Balgonie and Jean Lindsay.^1,2 She married, secondly, David Lundie.¹ She married, firstly, Sir John Lindsay, Master of Lindsay, son of Patrick Lindsay, 4th Lord Lindsay of the Byres and Isabella Pitcairn, before 8 September 1521.¹
     From before 8 September 1521, her married name became Lindsay.¹

     Sir Robert Lundie of Balgonie was the son of Robert Lundie of Balgonie and Helen Sibbald of Balgonie.² He married Jean Lindsay, daughter of Patrick Lindsay, 4th Lord Lindsay of the Byres and Isabella Pitcairn.² He died in 1502.²
     He held the office of Treasurer [Scotland].²

     Martha Jane Gore was born on 27 June 1959.¹ She is the daughter of Arthur Francis Baldwin Gore and Helen Claire Mullen.¹

     John Lindsay, 5th Lord Lindsay of the Byres was the son of Sir John Lindsay, Master of Lindsay and Elizabeth Lundie.² He married Lady Helen Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 2nd Earl of Atholl.² He died circa 17 December 1563.²
     He held the office of Sheriff of Fife in 1526.² He succeeded as the 5th Lord Lindsay of the Byres [S., 1444] after 8 March 1526.² He held the office of Extraordinary Lord of Session in 1532.² In 1542 he was one of the four peers charged with caring for the infant Mary, Queen of Scots.² He held the office of Hereiditary Justiciar of St. Andrews.² He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1545.² He fought in the Battle of Ancrum Muir on 6 March 1544/45, where he commanded Scots forces.²

     Patrick Lindsay was the son of Sir John Lindsay, Master of Lindsay and Elizabeth Lundie.¹ He died, without issue.¹

     David Lindsay was the son of Sir John Lindsay, Master of Lindsay and Elizabeth Lundie.¹ He married Helen Crichton.¹ He died in 1592.¹

     Helen Crichton married David Lindsay, son of Sir John Lindsay, Master of Lindsay and Elizabeth Lundie.¹
     Her married name became Lindsay.¹

     John Lindsay was the son of David Lindsay and Helen Crichton.¹ He married, firstly, Marjory Pitcairn.¹ He died before 4 December 1599.¹
     He lived at Kirkforthar, Scotland^G.¹

     Patrick Lindsay was the son of John Lindsay and Marjory Pitcairn.¹ He married Helen Orme, daughter of David Orme of Priorlethame, in September 1584.¹ He died on 24 March 1638.¹

     Elizabeth Charlton was the daughter of Francis Charlton.¹ She married Matthew Montagu, 4th Baron Rokeby, son of Morris Robinson and Jane Greenland, on 9 July 1785.¹ She died on 7 March 1817.
     From 9 July 1785, her married name became Montagu.¹
