     Richard Edensor Heathcote was baptised on 25 October 1780.³ He was the son of Sir John Edensor Heathcote and Anne Gresley.⁴ He married, firstly, Emma Sophia Gresley, daughter of Sir Nigel Bowyer Gresley, 7th Bt. and Wilmot Gresley, on 16 August 1808 at Scarborough, Yorkshire, England.⁵ He married, secondly, Lady Elizabeth Keith Lindsay, daughter of General Alexander Lindsay, 6th Earl of Balcarres and Elizabeth Dalrymple, on 13 December 1815.¹ He married, thirdly, Susan Cooper on 19 June 1838.⁵ He died on 3 May 1850 at age 69.³
     He lived at Longton Hall, Staffordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Coventry between 1826 and 1830.⁵ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stoke-on-Trent between 1835 and 1836.⁵

     Lady Anne Lindsay was born on 19 April 1787 at Balcarres, Fife, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of General Alexander Lindsay, 6th Earl of Balcarres and Elizabeth Dalrymple.¹ She married Robert Wardlaw-Ramsay on 16 April 1811.¹ She died on 14 January 1846 at age 58 at Leamington, Warwickshire, England.¹
     From 16 April 1811, her married name became Wardlaw-Ramsay.

     Robert Wardlaw-Ramsay married Lady Anne Lindsay, daughter of General Alexander Lindsay, 6th Earl of Balcarres and Elizabeth Dalrymple, on 16 April 1811.¹ He died in 1837.¹
     He lived at Balgarvie, Fife, Scotland^G.¹

     Hon. Colin Lindsay was born on 6 December 1819.² He was the son of James Lindsay, 24th Earl of Crawford and Hon. Maria Margaret Francis Pennington.² He married Lady Frances Howard, daughter of William Howard, 4th Earl of Wicklow and Lady Cecil Frances Hamilton, on 29 July 1845.² He died on 28 January 1892 at age 72.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Lady Frances Howard was the daughter of William Howard, 4th Earl of Wicklow and Lady Cecil Frances Hamilton.^1,2 She married Hon. Colin Lindsay, son of James Lindsay, 24th Earl of Crawford and Hon. Maria Margaret Francis Pennington, on 29 July 1845.¹ She died on 20 August 1897.¹
     Her married name became Lindsay.

     Charles Francis Arnold Howard, 5th Earl of Wicklow was born on 5 November 1839.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. Francis Howard and Sarah Hamilton.¹ He died on 20 June 1881 at age 41, unmarried.²
     He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Wicklow [I., 1793] on 22 March 1869.² He succeeded as the 5th Baron Clonmore, of Clonmore Castle, co. Carlow [I., 1776] on 22 March 1869.² He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Wicklow, of co. Wicklow [I., 1785] on 22 March 1869.² He gained the rank of Colonel in the Wicklow Militia.² He was appointed Representative Peer [Ireland].²

     William Alexander Lindsay was born on 8 June 1846.² He was the son of Hon. Colin Lindsay and Lady Frances Howard.¹ He married Lady Harriet Gordon, daughter of George John James Hamilton-Gordon, 5th Earl of Aberdeen and Lady Mary Baillie, on 7 May 1870 at St. James’s Church, Piccadilly, London, England^G.^1,3 He died on 13 September 1926 at age 80.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was a practising barrister in 1873.² He held the office of Portcullis Pursuivant of Arms between 1882 and 1894.² He held the office of Windsor Herald between 1894 and 1919.² He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) in 1897.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Devon.² He held the office of Bencher of the Middle Temple in 1906.² He held the office of Norroy King of Arms between 1919 and 1922.² He held the office of Clarenceux King of Arms between 1922 and 1926.² He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1924.¹

     Lady Harriet Gordon was born on 17 December 1849 at Ranger’s House, Blackheath, London, England^G.² She was the daughter of George John James Hamilton-Gordon, 5th Earl of Aberdeen and Lady Mary Baillie.¹ She married William Alexander Lindsay, son of Hon. Colin Lindsay and Lady Frances Howard, on 7 May 1870 at St. James’s Church, Piccadilly, London, England^G.^1,2 She died on 15 February 1942 at age 92.¹
     Her married name became Lindsay.

     George John James Hamilton-Gordon, 5th Earl of Aberdeen was born on 28 September 1816 at Bentley Prior, Stanmore, London, England^G.² He was the son of George Hamilton-Gordon, 4th Earl of Aberdeen and Harriet Douglas.¹ He married Lady Mary Baillie, daughter of George Baillie of Jerviswoode and Mellerstain and Mary Pringle, on 5 November 1840 at Taymouth Castle, Perthshire, Scotland^G.² He died on 22 March 1864 at age 47 at Haddo House, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² He was buried at Methlick, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.²
     He was styled as Lord Haddo between 1816 and 1860.² He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1837 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Aberdeenshire between 1854 and 1860.² He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Aberdeen [S., 1682] on 14 December 1860.² He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Gordon, of Haddo, co. Aberdeen [S., 1642] on 14 December 1860. He succeeded as the 5th Viscount of Formartine [S., 1682] on 14 December 1860. He succeeded as the 5th Lord Haddo, Methlick, Tarves and Kellie [S., 1682] on 14 December 1860. He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Gordon of Aberdeen, co. Aberdeen [U.K., 1814] on 14 December 1860.

     Lt.-Col. Walter James Lindsay was born on 28 September 1847.¹ He was the son of Hon. Colin Lindsay and Lady Frances Howard.¹ He married Henrietta Julia Bloomfield, daughter of FitzMaurice Gustavus Bloomfield, on 23 April 1883.¹ He died on 12 May 1922 at age 74.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Rifle Brigade.¹
