He was also known as William Forward-Howard.3 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Wicklow [I., 1793] on 27 September 1818.1 He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Wicklow, of co. Wicklow [I., 1785] on 27 September 1818.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Clonmore, of Clonmore Castle, co. Carlow [I., 1776] on 27 September 1818.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of St. Patrick (K.P.)4 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Wiclow.4 He was appointed Representative Peer [Ireland].4
