He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount of Fentoun [S., 1606] on 11 February 1633.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Erskine of Dirletowne [S., 1604] on 11 February 1633.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Kellie [S., 1619] on 11 February 1633.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount of Fentoun [S., 1619] on 11 February 1633.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Dirletoun [S., 1619] on 11 February 1633.1 He fought in the Battle of Worcester in 1651, where he was captured by Cromwell’s forces.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1661.1
