     Captain Peter Lambert was born circa 1779.2 He was the son of Walter Peter Lambert and Ellen Tubbs.3 He married, firstly, Eleanor Seymour, daughter of Thomas Seymour and Jame Thompson, in 1810.3 He married, secondly, Maria Louisa Carroll on 19 July 1829 at Athenry, County Galway, IrelandG.3,4 He died on 17 January 1844 at Fortrick’s grove, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.3,2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.2 He lived at Castle Ellen, Athenry, County Galway, IrelandG.1
