     He lived at Millburn, Scotland.² He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)² He held the office of Lord Justice of Ireland.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General.² He lived at Walworth, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court between 1680 and 1687.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Coleraine.² He was Governor of Royal Hospital, Dublin between 1718 and 1732.²

     Matthew Pennefather married Levina Kingsmill, daughter of Colonel William Kingsmill.²

     Kingsmill Pennefather was baptised on 10 January 1671.² He was the son of Matthew Pennefather and Levina Kingsmill.^1,2 He married Elizabeth Bolton before 1696.² He died before September 1736.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)³ He lived at New Park, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹

     Michael Beresford is the son of Sir Tristram Beresford, 1st Bt. and Sarah Sackville.¹ He married Jane (?)²

     Sarah Beresford was the daughter of Sir Tristram Beresford, 1st Bt. and Sarah Sackville.¹ She married, firstly, Paul Brasier, son of Paul Brasier.² She married, secondly, Edward Cary.² She died on 13 April 1683.¹
     Her married name became Cary.² Her married name became Brasier.

     Michael Beresford was the son of George Beresford and Eleanor Greene.¹ He married Rose Knyvett, daughter of John Knyvett and Agnes Harcourt. He died after 1574.¹
     He lived at Otford and the Squirres, Kent, England.¹ He also had two elder and four younger sons and four daughters.¹

     Rose Knyvett is the daughter of John Knyvett and Agnes Harcourt.^1,2 She married Michael Beresford, son of George Beresford and Eleanor Greene.
