Mary Damer1

Mary Damer was the daughter of Joseph Damer and Mary Churchill.1 She married William Henry Dawson, 1st Viscount Carlow, son of Ephraim Dawson and Anne Preston, on 8 December 1737.1 She died on 2 June 1769.1 She was buried at St. George’s Chapel, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1
From 8 December 1737, her married name became Dawson.1

Sir John Carlyle, 1st Lord Carlyle of Torthorwald1 
He was created 1st Lord Carlyle of Torthorwald [Scotland] between October 1473 and July 1474.1 He held the office of Chief Justice south of the Forth [Scotland].1 In 1485 he was instrumental in suppressing the rebellion of the Douglas family, and was rewarded with large grants of land.1 His last will was dated 12 November 1500.2
