     William Keith of Inverugie, younger is the son of Sir William Keith, 4th of Inverugie and Janet Dunbar.2,1 He married Janet Gray, daughter of Andrew Gray, 2nd Lord Gray and Lady Elizabeth Stewart.3 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.1
     He was also known as Alexander Keith.3 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.1
