Sir John Byrne, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1705.1 He was the son of Sir Daniel Byrne, 2nd Bt. and Anna Dorothea Warren.1 He married Meriel Leicester, daughter of Sir Francis Leicester, 3rd Bt. and Frances Wilson, in 1728.1 He died in January 1741/42 at York, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He was buried on 2 February 1741/42 at Great Budworth, Cheshire, EnglandG.3 His will was proven (by probate) in 1742.3
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Byrne, of Timogue, Queen’s County [I., 1671] on 25 September 1715.1 His last will was dated 6 March 1738. He held the office of Sheriff of Cheshire between February 1740 and December 1740.1
