     Rt. Rev. Harold Jocelyn Buxton was born on 20 June 1880.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton, 3rd Bt. and Lady Victoria Noel.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1901 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1905 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Vicar between 1914 and 1918 at Horley, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was Secretary of the Lord Mayor’s Armenian Relief Fund between 1918 and 1926.¹ He was the Chaplain between 1926 and 1927 at St. George’s Cathedral, Jerusalem, Israel^G.¹ He was the Chaplain between 1927 and 1931 at St. Paul’s, Nicosia, Cyprus^G.¹ He held the office of Archdeacon of Cyprus between 1928 and 1933.¹ He held the office of Bishop of Gibraltar between 1933 and 1947.¹ He was Sub-Prelate Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)¹ He was the Rector between 1949 and 1953 at Lauton, England^G.¹ He was awarded the Order of George I of Greece.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Star of Romania 1st class.¹ He was awarded the Order of St. Sava of Yugoslavia.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Johnstone was born on 9 July 1802.² He was the son of James Raymond Johnstone of Alva and Mary Elizabeth Cholmeley.¹ He married Caroline Pankel, daughter of Reverend Charles Pankel, on 18 June 1845.² He died in May 1854 at age 51, drowned.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Caroline Pankel was the daughter of Reverend Charles Pankel.¹ She married Lt.-Col. John Johnstone, son of James Raymond Johnstone of Alva and Mary Elizabeth Cholmeley, on 18 June 1845.² She died on 6 July 1901.²
     From 18 June 1845, her married name became Johnstone.

     Maud Isabel Buxton is the daughter of Sir Robert Jacob Buxton, 3rd Bt. and Mary Augusta Harriet Johnstone.¹ She married Gerard James Buxton on 18 December 1901.¹

     Julian Wilberforce Buxton was born on 20 August 1913.¹ He was the son of Leland William Wilberforce Buxton and Ada Mary Oakes.² He married Maria Iseult Dunsterville, daughter of Walter Frederick Dunsterville and Gwynedd Maud Juliana Vallings, on 18 December 1939.¹ He and Maria Iseult Dunsterville were divorced in 1948.¹ He died in November 1992 at age 79 at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.³
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England^G.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1934 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery (Territorial Army.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹

     Maria Iseult Dunsterville is the daughter of Walter Frederick Dunsterville and Gwynedd Maud Juliana Vallings.^1,2 She married Julian Wilberforce Buxton, son of Leland William Wilberforce Buxton and Ada Mary Oakes, on 18 December 1939.¹ She and Julian Wilberforce Buxton were divorced in 1948.¹
     From 18 December 1939, her married name became Buxton.

     Gerard James Buxton married Maud Isabel Buxton, daughter of Sir Robert Jacob Buxton, 3rd Bt. and Mary Augusta Harriet Johnstone, on 18 December 1901.¹
     He was given the name of Gerard James Barnes at birth.¹ On 26 March 1902 his name was legally changed to Gerard James Buxton by Royal Licence.¹

     Diana Elizabeth Buxton was born on 20 November 1915.¹ She is the daughter of Leland William Wilberforce Buxton and Ada Mary Oakes.² She married Commander Adrian James Dent, son of Sir Francis Henry Dent and Helen Janet Morten, on 27 March 1939.¹
     From 27 March 1939, her married name became Dent.

     Sir Francis Henry Dent was born on 31 December 1866.² He was the son of Admiral Charles Bayley Calmady Dent and Corinna Kourkoumelles.^3,4 He married Helen Janet Morten, daughter of James Morten and Maria Skinner, in 1902 at Denham, Buckinghamshire, England.⁴ He married Winifred Grace Culling Fremantle, daughter of William Archibald Culling Fremantle and Grace Eleanor Burrows, on 10 November 1923.³ He died on 4 June 1955 at age 88.³
     He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)¹

     Commander Adrian James Dent was born in 1909.² He is the son of Sir Francis Henry Dent and Helen Janet Morten.^3,2 He married Diana Elizabeth Buxton, daughter of Leland William Wilberforce Buxton and Ada Mary Oakes, on 27 March 1939.¹
     He was registered as a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Institute of Electrical Engineers (F.I.E.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹
