     Fanny Charlotte Thursby was born on 5 January 1864 at Byfield, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Harvey Thursby and Mary Anne Kershaw.¹ She was baptised on 14 February 1864 at Wormleighton, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ She married Reverend Charles Hubert Whitfield on 30 January 1895 at Burghfield, Berkshire, England^G.¹
     From 30 January 1895, her married name became Whitfield.¹

     Sir John Ormerod Scarlett Thursby, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 April 1861 at Falconer’s Hill, Daventry, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir John Hardy Thursby, 1st Bt. and Clara Williams.¹ He married Ella Beatrice Crosse, daughter of Colonel Thomas Richard Crosse and Lady Mary Stewart, on 28 November 1888 at St. Peter’s Church, Eaton Square, London, England^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Thursby in 1901.
