     He held the office of High Sheriff of Berkshire in 1877.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Berkshire.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Berkshire between 1885 and 1900.1 He lived at Wasing Place, Berkshire, EnglandG.2
