     Sarah Ann Ludford, Baroness Ludford was born on 14 March 1951.² She is the daughter of Joseph Campbell Ludford and Valerie Kathleen Skinner.² She married Steve Hitchins.²
     Her married name became Hitchins.² She was educated at Portsmouth High School for Girls, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England^G.² She graduated from London School of Economics, London, England, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)² She graduated from London School of Economics, London, England, with a Master of Science (M.Sc.)² She was admitted to Gray’s Inn in 1979 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.² She was with the official Secretariat General and Director-General for Competition, European Community between 1979 and 1985.² She was European and UK policy advisor for Lloyd’s between 1985 and 1987.² She was vice-president of coprorate external affairs, American Express European between 1987 and 1990.² She held the office of Member of Islington Borough Council between 1991 and 1999.² She was created Baroness Ludford, of Clerkenwell in the London Borough of Islington [U.K. Life Peer] on 30 September 1997.¹ She held the office of Member of the European Parliament (M.E.P.) in 1999, for London.^1,2

     Commander Cecil Hugo de Boisville Newby was born on 29 December 1904 at 3 Godolphin Road, Shepherds Buch, Fulham, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Cecil Reginald Adey Newby and Ethel Gertrude Emily Wood.¹ He married, firstly, Hilda Hodgkinson Butterfield, daughter of William Arthur Butterfield and Rebecca Emelda Stevenson, on 17 November 1934 at Church of St. Mary the Crowned, Gibraltar^G.¹ He and Hilda Hodgkinson Butterfield were divorced on 14 February 1950.¹ He married, secondly, Irena Moore in 1950 at Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He died in September 1985 at age 80 at Westminster, London, England^G.¹
     He was commissioned on 15 September 1918, in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He gained the rank of Midshipman on 15 January 1923.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant on 15 November 1925.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 15 August 1927.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 August 1935.¹ He fought in the Second World War, and was in command of HMS Echo during the sinking of the Bismarck.¹ He was Naval Attaché to Madrid in 1946.¹ He retired from the military on 19 December 1949, with the rank of Commander.¹

     Dennis Lyons, Baron Lyons of Brighton died on 18 January 1978.¹
     He was given the name of Braham Jack Lyons at birth.¹ He was created Baron Lyons of Brighton, of Brighton in the County of East Sussex [U.K. Life Peer] on 22 January 1975.¹

     Rebecca Emelda Stevenson was born on 17 May 1880 at South Shields, County Durham, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Stevenson and Mary McDonough.¹ She married William Arthur Butterfield, son of Henry William Butterfield and Anne Hodgkinson Oldham, on 19 November 1903 at West Ham, London, England^G. She died on 26 November 1953 at age 73 at Bristol, England^G.¹
     From 19 November 1903, her married name became Butterfield.¹

     Donald Macaulay, Baron Macaulay of Bragar was born on 14 November 1933.² He was the son of John Macaulay and Effie McLean.² He married Mary Morrison, daughter of Murdo Morrison, in 1962.² He died on 12 June 2014 at age 80 at Joppa, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.³

     Angus John Macdonald, Baron Macdonald of Tradeston was born on 20 August 1940.² He is the son of Colin Macdonald and Jean Livingstone.² He married Theresa McQuaid in 1963.²

     Norman Somerville Macfarlane, Baron Macfarlane of Bearsden was born on 5 March 1926.² He was the son of Daniel Robertson Macfarlane and Jessie Lindsay Somerville.² He married Marguerite Mary Campbell, daughter of John Johnstone Campbell, in 1953.² He died on 5 November 2021 at age 95.³
