     Maurice FitzGibbon, 1st White Knight was the son of Sir Gilbert fitz John and Ellen M’Carthy.2 He married Katharine Bruce.3 He died in 1357.2 He was buried in 1357 at Kilmallock Abbey, County Limerick, IrelandG.4
     He was appointed Knight after 1333 in Scotland by King Edward.3 He fought in the Battle of Halidon Hill on 19 July 1333.4
