Edmund Butler, 2nd Baron Caher1 
He joined the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland, Earl of Susex, in an expedition agianst Limerick.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Caher, co. Tipperary [I., 1543] in 1558.1
On his death, his barony fell into abeyance between his two aunts.1
