     Sir Esler Maberley Dening was born on 21 April 1897.¹ He was the son of Walter Dening and Lydia Norman James.¹ He died on 29 January 1977 at age 79.¹ An inquest post mortem was held for his in 1950 Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹
     He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1919, with the Australian Imperial Forces, in Egypt and France.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He was with HM Consular Service between 1920 and 1938.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1939.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1945.¹ He held the office of Assistant Under-Secretary of State, Foreign Office between 1946 and 1950.¹ He held the office of Ambassador to Japan between 1952 and 1957.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1955.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun of Japan in 1964.¹

     Walter Ernest Dening is the son of Walter Dening and Victoria Croggon.¹

     Hon. Edwina Maureen Stanley was born on 19 January 1933.¹ She is the daughter of Edward John Stanley, 6th Baron Sheffield and Lady Victoria Audrey Beatrice Chetwynd-Talbot.² She married, firstly, John Dawnay Innes, son of Lt.-Col. James Archibald Innes and Evelyn Adelaide Dawnay, on 5 January 1953.¹ She and John Dawnay Innes were divorced in 1965.¹ She married, secondly, Joshua Philip Epstein, son of Dr. Samuel Hyman Epstein, on 25 October 1968.¹
     From 5 January 1953, her married name became Innes. From 25 October 1968, her married name became Epstein.¹ She lived in 2003 at 146 Benhill Road, London, England.¹

     Walter Vane-Fletcher was born on 27 October 1692.¹ He was the son of Lionel Vane and Catherine Fletcher.¹ He married Mercy Wright, daughter of Samuel Wright.¹ He married Mary Anne Woodward, daughter of Godfrey Woodward.¹
     He lived at Hutton Hall, Cumberland, England.¹ He was given the name of Walter Vane at birth.¹ In 1761 his name was legally changed to Walter Vane-Fletcher.¹ In 1761 he suceeded to the Hutton estates.¹

     George Crosbie lived at Dumfries-shire, Scotland.¹

     Thomas John Stanley Innes was born in 1954.¹ He is the son of John Dawnay Innes and Hon. Edwina Maureen Stanley.² He married Irma Fingal-Rock in 1989.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He lived in 2003 at 64 Monnow Street, Monmouth, Gwent, Wales.¹

     Irma Fingal-Rock married Thomas John Stanley Innes, son of John Dawnay Innes and Hon. Edwina Maureen Stanley, in 1989.¹

     Oliver Edward Zachariah Fingal-Rock Innes was born in 1984.¹ He is the son of Thomas John Stanley Innes and Irma Fingal-Rock.²

     Aphrodite Irma Emilie Clementine Fingal-Rock Innes was born in 1987.¹ She is the daughter of Thomas John Stanley Innes and Irma Fingal-Rock.²

     Richard James Innes was born in 1955.¹ He is the son of John Dawnay Innes and Hon. Edwina Maureen Stanley.² He married Auriol I. Stanton, daughter of R. H. F. Stanton, in 1987.¹
