     He was founder of a pill making business at St. Helens, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He lived at Southport, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Mary Evans was the daughter of William Evans.¹ She married Thomas Beecham, son of Joseph Beecham and Sarah (?), on 26 May 1847.¹ She died on 19 August 1872.¹
     From 26 May 1847, her married name became Beecham.¹

     Sir James Stopford Lauder Brunton, 2nd Bt. was born on 11 October 1884.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Lauder Brunton, 1st Bt. and Louisa Jane Stopford.¹ He married Elizabeth Bonsall Porter, daughter of Dr. John Bonsall Porter, on 30 April 1915.¹ He died on 25 July 1943 at age 58.¹
