Peerage Record – 1833

     Admiral of the Fleet Hon. Sir Charles Gilbert John Brydone Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound was born on 12 December 1818.² He was the son of Gilbert Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, 2nd Earl of Minto and Mary Brydone.^1,2 He married, firstly, Louisa Blackett, daughter of Sir Edward Blackett, 6th Bt. and Julia Monck, on 8 December 1863.² He married, secondly, Lady Harriette Emily Liddell, daughter of Henry Thomas Liddell, 1st Earl of Ravensworth and Isabella Horatia Seymour, on 4 February 1874.² He died on 21 May 1895 at age 76.²
     He was Commander-in-Chief of the The Nore between 1870 and 1873.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)² He gained the rank of Admiral of the Fleet in the Royal Navy.²

     Susan Humphreys is the daughter of George Humphreys.¹ She married David St. John Gordon Arbuthnott, son of John Hyde Arbuthnott and Patience Sarah Wainman, in 1980.¹
     From 1980, her married name became Arbuthnott.¹

     Mary Fludyer was born in June 1755. She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Fludyer.¹ She married Trevor Charles Roper, 18th Lord Dacre, son of Hon. Charles Roper and Gertrude Trevor, on 2 March 1773.¹ She died on 11 September 1808 at age 53 at Lee, Kent, England^G.
     Her married name became Roper.

     Sir Thomas Wathen Waller, 2nd Bt. was born on 24 June 1805.² He was the son of Sir Jonathan Wathen Waller, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Slack.² He married Catherine Wise, daughter of Reverend Henry Wise, on 20 October 1836.² He died on 29 January 1892 at age 86.²
     He was Secretary of Legation at Brussels, Belgium.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Waller, of Braywick Lodge, Berkshire [U.K., 1815] on 1 January 1853.²

     Joseph Bullock lived at Caversfield, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Maj.-Gen. David Dewar was born circa 1758.² He was the son of William Dewar and April Anne Agnes Erskine.³ He married Mary Cutler, daughter of John Cutler, on 10 June 1790.² He died on 9 October 1819.²
     He was Burgess and Guild Brother of Edinburgh in 1800.² He lived at Lathalan, Scotland^G.² He gained the rank of Major-General in the Cheshire (22nd) Regiment.² He lived at Gilston House, Fife, Scotland^G.¹

     Edward Knight lived at Keswick Old Hall, Norwich, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Rupert Charles Edward Field-Marsham was born on 5 February 1938.¹ He is the son of Charles Austin Field-Marsham and Joan Helen Nevill.¹ He married Marilyn Muriel Maughan, daughter of Dr. George B. Maughan, on 20 September 1963.¹ He married, secondly, Lindsay Ruth Dale-Harris, daughter of Robert Dale-Harris and Leslie Howard, on 15 June 1973.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Armoured Corps.¹ He lived in 2003 at 29 Roxborough Street West, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.¹
