     Sir Harry Jephcott, 1st Bt. was born on 15 January 1891.¹ He was the son of John Josiah Jephcott and Helen Matthews.² He married Doris Gregory, daughter of Henry Gregory, on 19 April 1919.¹ He died on 29 June 1978 at age 87.¹
     He was educated at King Edward’s School, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England^G.² He was with Customs & Excise Department between 1912 and 1914.¹ He was wit the Department of Government Chemist between 1914 and 1919.² He graduated from West Ham Technical College, West Ham, Essex, England, in 1915 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He graduated from West Ham Technical College, West Ham, Essex, England, in 1918 with a Master of Science (M.Sc.)² He was chief chemist with Glaxo Labs in 1919.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institute of Chemistry (F.R.I.C.) in 1920.¹ He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1925 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He was general manager of Glaxo Labs in 1925.² He was managing director of Glaxo Labs in 1935.² He was appointed Fellow, Pharmaceutical Society (F.P.S.)² He was chairman and managing director of Glaxo Labs between 1945 and 1956.² He was appointed Knight in 1946.¹ He was chairman of Glaxo Labs between 1956 and 1961.² He was chairman of Glaxo Group between 1962 and 1963.² He was created 1st Baronet Jephcott, of East Portlemouth, co. Devon [U.K.] on 14 February 1962.¹

     Ethel Helen Jephcott was born on 30 December 1880.¹ She was the daughter of John Josiah Jephcott and Helen Matthews.² She died on 7 December 1884 at age 3.¹

     Mabel Mary Jephcott was born on 13 October 1882.¹ She was the daughter of John Josiah Jephcott and Helen Matthews.² She died on 7 October 1955 at age 72.¹

     Doris Gregory was the daughter of Henry Gregory.² She married Sir Harry Jephcott, 1st Bt., son of John Josiah Jephcott and Helen Matthews, on 19 April 1919.¹ She died in 1985.²
     She was appointed Fellow, Pharmaceutical Society (F.P.S.)¹ From 19 April 1919, her married name became Jephcott.

     Sir John Anthony Jephcott, 2nd Bt. was born on 21 May 1924.¹ He was the son of Sir Harry Jephcott, 1st Bt. and Doris Gregory.² He married, firstly, Sylvia Mary Relling, daughter of Thorsten Frederick Relling, on 15 December 1949.¹ He and Sylvia Mary Relling were divorced in 1978.² He married, secondly, Josephine Agnes Sheridan, daughter of Philip Sheridan, in 1978.¹ He died on 7 August 2003 at age 79, without male issue.¹
     Sir John Anthony Jephcott, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Anthony.¹ He was educated at Aldenham School, Elstree, Hertfordshire, England^G.² He fought in the Second World War in 1944, with Royal Electricial and Mechanical Engineers WW II and Royal Army Engineering Corps.¹ He was educated at St. John’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was educated at London School of Economics, London, England^G, Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)² He was managing director and chairman of Longworth Scientific Instrument Company between 1952 and 1973.¹ He was managing director and chairman of Pen Medic (NZ) in 1973.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Jephcott, of East Portlemouth, co. Devon [U.K., 1962] on 29 June 1978.² He wrote the book A History of Longworth Scientific Instrument Company Ltd.¹

     Elizabeth Slack was the daughter of Thomas Slack.¹ She married Sir Jonathan Wathen Waller, 1st Bt., son of Joshua Phipps and Mary Allen, on 23 February 1793.¹ She died on 20 January 1809.¹
     From 23 February 1793, her married name became Waller.¹

     Thorsten Frederick Relling lived at Wellington, New Zealand.¹

     Sylvia Mary Relling was born circa 1923.² She was the daughter of Thorsten Frederick Relling.³ She married Sir John Anthony Jephcott, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Harry Jephcott, 1st Bt. and Doris Gregory, on 15 December 1949.¹ She and Sir John Anthony Jephcott, 2nd Bt. were divorced in 1978.³ She died on 4 November 2014.²
     From 15 December 1949, her married name became Jephcott.
