     Maye Amélie Lucile Brooke was born circa 1876 at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada^G.^2,3 She was the daughter of Colonel Alured de Vere Brooke and Mary Augustus Dobrée.¹ She married Rear-Admiral Archibald Cochrane, son of Vice-Admiral Basil Edward Cochrane and Cornelia Ramsay Owen, on 20 April 1904.¹ She died on 10 August 1954.¹
     She lived in 1881 at Gillingham, Kent, England^G.^2,3 From 20 April 1904, her married name became Cochrane.¹

     Rear-Admiral Archibald Cochrane was born on 20 June 1874.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral Basil Edward Cochrane and Cornelia Ramsay Owen.² He married Maye Amélie Lucile Brooke, daughter of Colonel Alured de Vere Brooke and Mary Augustus Dobrée, on 20 April 1904.² He died on 15 July 1952 at age 78.²
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Redeemer of Greece.¹ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V in 1929.¹

     Vice-Admiral Basil Edward Cochrane was born on 24 August 1841.¹ He was the son of Basil Edward Arthur Cochrane and Sally Caroline FitzGerald.² He married Cornelia Ramsay Owen, daughter of Captain John Robinson Owen, on 11 June 1873.¹ He died on 4 May 1922 at age 80.¹

     Arthur Brooke was born on 24 April 1819.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard Brooke, 6th Bt. and Harriot Cunliffe.¹ He married Susan Buchanan, daughter of Reverend Alexander Buchanan, on 19 February 1852.¹ He died on 7 June 1903 at age 84.¹

     Susan Buchanan was the daughter of Reverend Alexander Buchanan.¹ She married Arthur Brooke, son of Sir Richard Brooke, 6th Bt. and Harriot Cunliffe, on 19 February 1852.¹ She died on 25 November 1852.¹
     From 19 February 1852, her married name became Brooke.¹

     Reverend Alexander Buchanan lived at Hales, Staffordshire, England^G.¹

     Susan Alice Brooke was the daughter of Arthur Brooke and Susan Buchanan.¹ She died on 22 April 1862, young.¹

     Helen Maude Brooke was the daughter of Arthur Brooke and Susan Buchanan.¹ She married Reverend William Wentworth Wodehouse, son of Reverend Algernon Wodehouse and Lady Eleanor Isabel Bridget Ashburnham, on 26 June 1878.¹ She died on 1 August 1932.¹
     From 26 June 1878, her married name became Wodehouse.¹

     Reverend William Wentworth Wodehouse was born on 13 March 1846.² He was the son of Reverend Algernon Wodehouse and Lady Eleanor Isabel Bridget Ashburnham.² He married Helen Maude Brooke, daughter of Arthur Brooke and Susan Buchanan, on 26 June 1878.¹ He died on 26 March 1888 at age 42.¹
     He was the Rector at Distington, Cumberland, England^G.¹
