     Henry Odell was born on 1 September 1866 at Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹ He was the son of William Odell and Mary O’Connor.¹ He married Mary Carroll, daughter of John Carroll, in 1892.¹ He died on 23 October 1904 at age 38 at Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland^G.¹
     He gained the rank of Colour Sergeant in the Royal Ulster Fusiliers.¹

     Hélène Ellinor Clare Kidston was born circa 1904 at London, England.^2,3 She was the daughter of Captain Archibald Glen Kidston and Hélène Adeline Blanche Chapman.^4,2 She married, firstly, Major Philip Pinckney Curtis, son of Colonel Charles Herbert Curtis and Frances Edith Pinckney, on 16 April 1925.¹ She and Major Philip Pinckney Curtis were divorced in 1933.¹ She married, secondly, Rear-Admiral Philip Esmonde Phillips in 1933.² She and Rear-Admiral Philip Esmonde Phillips were divorced in 1950.² She married, thirdly, Maj.-Gen. David Charles Bullen-Smith in 1952.² She died on 26 June 2005.²
     From 16 April 1925, her married name became Curtis. From 1933, her married name became Phillips.² From 1952, her married name became Bullen-Smith.²

     Cherry April Ellinor Curtis was born on 24 May 1926.¹ She was the daughter of Major Philip Pinckney Curtis and Hélène Ellinor Clare Kidston.² She married Major Terence Leslie Gossage, son of Air Marshal Sir Ernest Leslie Gossage, on 28 December 1949.¹ She died on 6 December 2017 at age 91.³
     From 28 December 1949, her married name became Gossage.

     Air Marshal Sir Ernest Leslie Gossage was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He lived at Abbotswood, Buxted, Sussex, England^G.¹ Air Marshal Sir Ernest Leslie Gossage usually went by his middle name of Leslie.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)¹
