     Margaret Montgomerie was the daughter of Hugh Montgomerie, 1st Earl of Eglinton and Lady Helen Campbell.¹ She married, secondly, John Campbell.² She married, firstly, William Sempill, 2nd Lord Sempill, son of John Sempill, 1st Lord Sempill and Margaret Colville, before 20 July 1517.² She died from 31 July 1518 to 12 February 1522/23.¹
     Her married name became Campbell.² She was also known as Mariot.² From before 20 July 1517, her married name became Sempill.¹

     William Hamilton of Sanquhar was the son of Sir William Hamilton of Sanquhar and Katherine Kennedy. He married Jean Campbell.
     He lived at Sanquhar, Scotland^G.²

     Anne Byard was born on 29 January 1720.¹ She married Sir Brooke Boothby, 5th Bt., son of Brooke Boothby and Elizabeth Fitzherbert, on 13 October 1737.¹ She died on 4 October 1739 at age 19, without male issue.¹ She was buried on 5 October 1739 at Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England^G.¹
     From 13 October 1737, her married name became Boothby.¹

     Susanna Philipson is the daughter of John Philipson.¹

     John Philipson held the office of a Lord of the Treasury.¹

     Sir William Boothby, 8th Bt. was born on 25 March 1782.¹ He was the son of Major Sir William Boothby, 7th Bt. and Rafela del Gardo.¹ He married, firstly, Fanny Jenkinson, daughter of Colonel John Jenkinson and Frances Barker, on 29 January 1805.¹ He married, secondly, Louisa Cranstoun Macnamara, daughter of Frederick Hayes Macnamara and Jane Williams, on 15 October 1844 at St. Mary’s Church, Fulham, London, England^G.¹ He died on 21 April 1846 at age 64 at Ashborne Hall, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England^G.¹ He was buried on 27 April 1840 at Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in June 1846.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 15th Light Dragoons.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)² He was Paymaster to the Corps of the Gentlemen at Arms.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to HRH Duke of Cumberland.¹ He was Receiver-General of Customs at the Port of London.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Boothby, of Broadlow Ash, co. Derby [E., 1660] on 17 March 1824.¹

     Fanny Jenkinson was the daughter of Colonel John Jenkinson and Frances Barker.¹ She married Sir William Boothby, 8th Bt., son of Major Sir William Boothby, 7th Bt. and Rafela del Gardo, on 29 January 1805.¹ She died on 2 January 1838 at Ashborne Hall, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England^G.¹ She was buried on 9 January 1838 at Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England^G.¹
     From 29 January 1805, her married name became Boothby.¹

     Colonel John Jenkinson was the son of Colonel Charles Jenkinson and Amarantha Cornewall.¹ He married Frances Barker, daughter of Admiral John Barker.² He died on 1 May 1805.²
     He lived at Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Corfe Castle between 1768 and 1780.² He held the office of Joint Secretary of Ireland.²

     Frances Barker was the daughter of Admiral John Barker.² She married Colonel John Jenkinson, son of Colonel Charles Jenkinson and Amarantha Cornewall.¹ She died on 28 August 1811.¹
     Her married name became Jenkinson.² She was also known as Frances Parker.²

     Admiral John Barker was also known as Admiral John Parker.²
