He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Tyrwhitt-Jones, of Stanley Hall, Shropshire [U.K., 1808] on 24 November 1811.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1816.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bridgnorth in 1818.1
