     Elizabeth Southcote was born in 1640.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Southcote.¹ She married Sir Henry Fane, son of George Fane.¹
     Her married name became Fane.¹

     Thomas Southcote was the son of Thomas Southcote and Katherine Pole.¹ He died on 19 September 1690 at Monkton, Devon, England^G.¹

     Mary Stanhope is the daughter of Hon. Alexander Stanhope and Catherine Burghill. She married Charles Fane, 1st Viscount Fane, son of Sir Henry Fane and Elizabeth Southcote, on 12 December 1707.
     From 12 December 1707, her married name became Fane.

     William Hamilton lived at Drumaspil, County Tyrone, Ireland.¹

     Charles Fane was the son of Charles Fane, 1st Viscount Fane and Mary Stanhope. He married Susanna Marriott on 7 June 1749. He died on 23 April 1766.

     From 7 June 1749, her married name became Fane.

     Robert George Cecil Fane was born on 8 May 1796.¹ He was the son of Henry Fane and Anne Batson.¹ He married, firstly, Isabella Mary Harvey, daughter of Admiral Sir Eliab Harvey and Lady Louisa Nugent, on 24 June 1835.¹ He married, secondly, Harriete Anne Blackwood, daughter of Vice-Admiral Hon. Sir Henry Blackwood, 1st Bt. and Harriet Gore, on 7 September 1841.¹
     He was Commissioner of the Court of Bankruptcy.¹

     Isabella Mary Harvey was the daughter of Admiral Sir Eliab Harvey and Lady Louisa Nugent.¹ She married Robert George Cecil Fane, son of Henry Fane and Anne Batson, on 24 June 1835.¹ She died on 15 December 1838, without issue.¹
     From 24 June 1835, her married name became Fane.

     Harriete Anne Blackwood is the daughter of Vice-Admiral Hon. Sir Henry Blackwood, 1st Bt. and Harriet Gore.^1,2 She married Robert George Cecil Fane, son of Henry Fane and Anne Batson, on 7 September 1841.¹
     From 7 September 1841, her married name became Fane.

     William Dashwood Fane was born on 21 October 1816 at India.¹ He was the son of William Fane and Louisa Hay Dashwood.¹ He was baptised on 23 November 1816 at Calcutta, Bengal, India.² He married Susan Millicent Reeve, daughter of General John Reeve and Lady Susan Sherard, on 7 August 1861.¹ He died on 29 November 1902 at age 86.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was a practising barrister.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Derbyshire.¹ He and Constance Edwina Adeline Hamlyn-Fane were New Tag Fulbeck Hall in 1887.³ He lived at Fulbeck Hall, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹
