Paul Beilby Lawley-Thompson, 1st Baron Wenlock1 
He was given the name of Paul Beilby Lawley at birth.1 On 27 September 1820 his name was legally changed to Paul Beilby Thompson by Royal Licence.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Lawley, of Spoonhill, Shropshire [E., 1641] on 30 January 1831.1 He was created 1st Baron Wenlock, of Wenlock, co. Shropshire [U.K.] on 13 May 1839.1 On 1 June 1839 his name was legally changed to Paul Beilby Lawley-Thompson by Royal Licence.1
