     Margaret Erskine was the daughter of John Erskine, 5th Lord Erskine and Lady Margaret Campbell. A contract for the marriage of Margaret Erskine and Sir Robert Douglas of Lochleven was signed on 11 July 1527.1 She died on 5 May 1572.2
     From 11 July 1527, her married name became Douglas.
