     Hon. John Reay Campbell Geddes was born on 24 April 1915.² He was the son of Auckland Campbell Geddes, 1st Baron Geddes and Isabella Gamble Ross.³ He married Diana Elizabeth Swift, daughter of Brigadier Charles Copley Swift, on 3 May 1944.² He died on 15 December 1978 at age 63.²

     Jane Elizabeth Barrie is the daughter of James Matthew Barrie.¹ She married, firstly, unknown Field before 1973.¹ She married, secondly, Hon. Christopher Melville McLaren, son of Henry Duncan McLaren, 2nd Baron Aberconway and Christabel Mary Melville Macnaghten, on 31 October 1973.¹
     From before 1973, her married name became Field.¹ From 31 October 1973, her married name became McLaren.¹
