Malcolm Everard MacLaren Pearson, Baron Pearson of Rannoch1
Malcolm Everard MacLaren Pearson, Baron Pearson of Rannoch was born on 20 July 1942.3 He is the son of Colonel John MacLaren Pearson Pearson.3 He married, firstly, Francesca Frua de Angeli, daughter of Giuseppe Frua de Angeli and Umberta dei baroni Nasi, in 1965.1,3 He and Francesca Frua de Angeli were divorced in 1970.3 He married, secondly, Hon. Francesca Mary Charteris, daughter of Lt.-Col. Martin Michael Charles Charteris, Baron Charteris of Amisfield and Hon. Mary Gay Hobart Margesson, in 1977.3 He and Hon. Francesca Mary Charteris were divorced in 1996.4 He married, thirdly, Caroline Rose, daughter of Major Hugh Lancelot St. Vincent Rose and Georgina Isabel Dora Philippi, in 1997.3
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.3 He was founder of the Pearson Webb Springbett (P.W.S.) Group in 1964.3 He was a member of the Council for National Academic Awards (C.N.A.A.) between 1983 and 1993.3 He was founder of the Rannoch Trust in 1984.3 He was honorary treasurer of the Council for National Academic Awards (C.N.A.A.) between 1986 and 1993.3 He was created Baron Pearson of Rannoch, of Bridge of Gaur in the District of Perth and Kinross [U.K. Life Peer] on 18 June 1990.5 He was a member of the sub-committee for the Conservative Environment and Social Affairs.3 He was a member of the House of Lords European Union Select Committee.3 He was honorary president of the National Society for Mentally Handicapped People in Residential Care.3
